About me
My name is Ray Sperl, and I have been the Technology Director with Cambridge-Isanti Schools since 2013, where I am responsible for IT strategy, governance, portfolio management, vendor relationship management, budgeting, cybersecurity/information security planning and incident response, and both operational and instructional tech support, increasing efficiency on a lean budgetary allocation. I am one of 3 co-facilitators of our AI Guidance Task Force, responsible for AI policy and guideline development for staff and students. Also served C-I Schools as a Technology Integration Coach, Teacher/Coach, Online Teacher, and the lead writer for the district’s online learning application to the MN Dept of Education.
In addition to my roles with Cambridge-Isanti Schools, I have also been an adjunct professor at Bethel University, a Curriculum Consultant/Instructional Designer for Vivacity Tech and the development of their Student Repair Academy, a Learning Technologist and Quality Reviewer for iDesignEDU, and an online administrator and teacher for iForward Schools in Wisconsin.
